Smooth milk chocolate from the rare Piura Blanco cocoa bean, paired in harmony with New Zealand grown Hazelnuts from Canterbury, Yuzu from Levin and Bergamot from Italy.
What are Piura Blanco beans?
This ultra-rare white cocoa bean was discovered in 2007 in the Piura river valley of Northern Peru. Due to its lively fruit flavours, it has become one of the best-awarded beans worldwide. Cacao genetic experts believe that the Piura Blanco is an “albino” of a native cacao, and is a form of the rarest and most delicate bean type - the Criollo.

These beans are sourced from: Amazonas department, Awajún community in the Amazon rainforest.
Cacao collected by the Awajun native community, originally from the Peruvian Amazon. Criollo variety cacao, fermented for 4 days in the village of Utt in wooden crates, covered with banana leaves and then dried in the same village.
